BioA year is a long time in LiveJournal.
Actually, it's been a long time since I updated this profile, far more than a year!
I still live in the sprawling metropolis, where I travel throughout the country for work, although lately I've been based in London. When I'm not training the masses on Legal applications for computer systems, I seem to be working in the nicest office in Old Street, London, being a marketing manager/project manager for one of the new pre-paid credit cards. It's a dream job, for someone, not me though, so I'll be glad to get back to my 'normal' job after Christmas. It's lots of fun though, and very creative, and oh yes, quite a culture shock sometimes because most of them are Jewish and I'm not!
The shoe habit is out of my system now, but anyone who knows me will know that shopping in general and gadgets are my thing. I seem to spend half my life in Florida now, or planning to go to Florida where I do most of my serious shopping.
I'm off to Australia in January for 5 weeks to see Mandy and Imogen who will be 3 1/5 by then, and there will be a 2 week old baby on the scene when I arrive, which we're all very excited about. :-) I start in Perth (where I haven't been to yet) then work my way down to Melbourne.
I'm also studying for a qualification in December which will take me to new training jobs, but is a lot of work and homework at the moment. I'l be glad of the rest when it's all over at Christmas.
